NPS pulls VA letterboxes.

I was notified, via email, from a frendly National Park Service employee, that my two Chatham Manor letterboxes were recently pulled. I will followup after I get a name and phone number so I can retrieve the logbooks and stamps. I will also let the list know how the conversation goes.

Jay,

I will be very interested to hear how this goes. Please ask if there
is someone in NPS whom you can talk to about the issues, or whether
the set policy is removal of all letterboxes or geocaches. Being a
government employee, you might be better than most in navigating the
way to whomever make such decisions.
